Officina DeFi is an Italian non-profit association for social promotion (APS) focused on decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, Web3 innovation and digital financial education. The organization was founded by a group of young professionals, researchers, investors and technology enthusiasts who initially came together through informal finance and crypto communities before officially establishing the association in 2023. Their objective was to create a structured ecosystem capable of promoting informed, responsible and accessible education around emerging decentralized technologies and financial innovation.
The association combines research, education, dissemination and community-building activities. Officina DeFi actively studies trends related to blockchain ecosystems, decentralized applications (dApps), tokenized finance, digital assets and innovation in Web3 environments, producing educational content, market analysis, reports, podcasts and awareness initiatives designed to help individuals better understand the opportunities and risks connected to decentralized finance. The organization strongly promotes critical thinking, financial awareness and informed participation rather than speculative approaches to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
